Well I'm not really steamed about anything so I guess this isn't really a vent. But I still need to write about it nonetheless...
My boyfriend, Will is going through some trouble right now. He was recently given a deadline to find his own place and move out of the home of the people he had been living with. They only gave him two weeks though... Well he managed to find something in his price range, but there's a problem. He won't recieve the call to find out whether he can move in until tomorrow, but today is the deadline that he has to be out. And even when he explained the situation, they still refuse to even give him one more lousy night. As soon as he gets home from work today, he has to turn in the car keys and then have someone pick him up and take him wherever he's going.
Well he gets to stay with me and my family tonight, which you'd think that solves the problem, but it doesn't. My dad is only willing to give him one night and if the apartment thing doesn't go through or even if it does but for some reason he can't move in right away, where does he go? He's already checked with all of his friends and they either say no or they just don't have the room for another person. And I mean I can't blame my dad not wanting one of his daughters' boyfriends staying the night, even though we are going to be sleeping in seperate rooms, but its still not going to be easy. And Dad is pretty pissed off about the whole thing which means we'll have to walk on eggshells around him tonight and have the house cleaner than usual when he gets home or he's bound to get even pissier.
And then of course Mom feels bad because Dad's pissed off and Will feels bad because he feels like he's being a burden and doesn't want to trouble us and I feel bad because Mom and Will feel bad. The whole situtation is pretty stressful... I just hope things get better soon. If nothing else, he can probably go to the Mission in Peoria. It would be temporary, but it would be something at least. And if he doesn't get the apartment, he'll probably have to take the first bus back to Indiana to live with his parents. I hope it doesn't have to come down to that though...
