One day Samuel decided to stop by the museum. He walked in, paid his fare and began his trip around the unique artifacts. He came across the ancient pokemon section and marveled at the size of the mysterious pokemon.

It had been a slow day at the Pewter Gym and so Brock had decided it was a good day to take a break. Anyway, he had heard about a new exhibit of ancient Pokemon fossils at the museum and had been meaning to check it out for a while now. He entered the building and after paying headed directly to where the exhibit was supposed to be.
((^^; Sorry its not very good.))

((lol))
Brock looked over at the one who had spoken to him. "Hey," he replied, a friendly smile on his face. He didn't really know what else to say. He didn't normally strike up conversaqtion with strangers unless they were beautiful women. Still he figured it might at least be in order to introduce himself. "Name's Brock. And you are?"

Samuel smiled. "Names Samuel. I'm a pokemon admirer of sorts." He turned back to the exhibit and sighed. "Amazing, isn't it? These pokemon lived hundreds, even thousands of years ago." He adjusted his tie and looked at the razor sharp arms of Kabutops.

Brock nodded before he too turned back to look at the fossils on display. "Yeah, I know what you mean," he replied. "I've always been fascinated by them. Even more so when it comes to my dream of being a Pokemon Breeder. Just think how much we could learn from Pokemon of the past. If we could learn even a fraction of what these fossils from so long ago have to offer, it might even be beneficial to the future of modern-day Pokemon."

"Yes, or we could try to extract some DNA from any bones and see if we can reive them." Samuel said smiling at the thought.

Brock looked at Samuel upon hearing this. "I've actually heard that some scientists are working on something like that," he said. "Though I think they'd best be careful. Prehistoric Pokemon can be dangerous. I saw that firsthand while travelling with two of my friends. There was a whole underground cave full of them that had been uncovered. But it had to be sealed back up because they were hostile."

"I agree. But if we train them right or let them into the wild where they can live like normal pokemon, they might be ok." Samuel said pulling out his notepad and scribbling something down.

"True," Brock agreed. "Its still a bit risky right now though. Its probably best that they're studied in a controlled area before any can be released into the wild. Otherwise there's no telling what might happen. Maybe everything will be fine, but there's also a chance that it would make the wilderness too dangerous for travelling through." He was all for Pokemon being free to roam, but he also thought it wise to focus on the overall outcome of things.

"More study is required indeed." Samuel said pulling out one of his pokeballs and letting a gengar out. "Mr. E, Take a good look, we hope to find some fossils like these to study." Samuel said the the gengar now beside him.

Brock was both surprised and impressed as he saw Samuel release his Gengar from its Pokeball. Ghost Pokemon weren't the easiest to take care of, but this one looked extremely healthy! More so than some other Pokemon he had seen in his travels, that was certain. "It looks like you take really good care of your Pokemon," he complimented. "Your Gengar's complection says a lot of good things about its health."

"Thank you. He was hard to train at first. When I first caught him, he didn't like me at all." He said and patted Mr. E on his head. "But now we're inseparable."
