Jessie stretched as a yawn escaped her lips and looked around. She had gotten seperated from James and Meowth a few hours ago and couldn't seem to find them anywhere. And now she had to admit she was exhausted from searching for them in such a large city. She was starting to think it might be a better idea to get some rest and hope that they would find her instead. She would probably yell at them if she did happen to meet up with them and refuse to acknowledge that it was probably her own fault. They had likely wandered off unaware that she had stopped to look at that beautiful dress in the window of the store they had been passing. Too bad she couldn't afford it. She'd probably just have to steal it later.
She sighed finally, exasperated and sat on a nearby park bench. ~How dare those two leave me behind, like that!~ she thought angrily. ~When I find them, they'll wish they had never been born!~

A spearow flew by, holding an odd black Pokeball in it's talons, one that had apparently had a lock installed to keep it sealed. It quickly landed on Jessie's head, as too take a quick break, then pecked at her hair before taking off again.
This was quickly followed by a Vulpix that jumped onto the bench, across her lap, then off the bench again to follow the bird pokemon through the park.
"Dawn, keeping running! Those papers are important so don't attack it!" A girl ran by, accidently dropping a contest ribbon case as she passed Jessie.
((I know she's not the kind of person to help out but oh well, I wanna see what happens. XD))

Jessie sighed slightly as she tried to calm down, but then her frustration and anger seemed to return, worse than before when a Spearow landed on her head and then proceeded to mess up her hair. She was about to get up to chase the bird when a Vulpix suddenly hopped across her lap. By this time a vein showed on her forehead and she clenched her teeth and made a fist with her right hand. A girl ran by next.
"Hey!" Jessie called out, wanting to complain about the two Pokemon. But the girl had already passed by this point. She sighed again, her eyes closed. This time it was more of an angry sigh than a trying to calm down sigh. But when she opened her eyes, all her frustrations seemed to disappear. At first it was an expression of curiosity on her face when she saw that the girl had dropped something. She walked closer and picked it up. And upon further inspection, she realized it was a Contest Ribbon case.
Jessie grinned evilly at this. And when she opened the case and saw that there were three ribbons, a wicked, high-pitched laugh followed. "Well if that girl can't keep track of her things then I guess these ribbons will help Jessalina enter the Grand Festival," she told herself out loud.

Arina smiled, grasping the papers tightly and triumphantly smiling as the Spearow weakly flew away, half fried. "Perfect! We got the train pass back!" She smiled, putting her magnet Train pass for the Saffron to Goldenrod line back in her pocket.
She pulled out her pokeball and called back her Vulpix, but then notice that one of her pockets was a little light. "Hey? Where'd my ribbons go?!" She poked her hand through in confusion, there was a hole in her pocket, she whipped around and noticed Jessie right away.
"What'd you think you're doing with those?!!"

Busted! But Jessie wasn't about to show any sign of alarm. "Oh, you mean these?" she cackled, the same wicked smile remaining on her face. "You should really take better care of your belongings." She still held onto the ribbon case with one hand and put the other hand on her hip. "Anyway, I'm afraid the saying goes 'finders keepers, losers weepers.' Too bad for you!" With those words, a quick wink, and an evil laugh, she turned and started to run off.

Arina's eyes widened, she couldn't let that woman get away with her ribbons! It just wasn't right! She pulled out a pokeball as she ran after Jessie, and tossed it. "Go! Twilight, Stop her!" The ball opened, and a ninetales came out dashing forward and running around Jessie, turning around and facing her growling, blocking her path.
"Give those back! They don't belong to you! I need those!"

Jessie stopped dead in her tracks then stepped back slightly. She was intimidated, that was for sure, but she wasn't about to give up the Ribbons she had stolen. She quickly pulled out a Pokeball and tossed it. "Go, Arbok!" she yelled. The large snake-like Pokemon appeared in a flash of light and remainging protectively in front of Jessie, hissed at the Ninetails. "Poison Sting!" As soon as she said this, Arbok had opened its mouth wide, sending several poisonous needles from its mouth.

"Bad move! Twilight, dodge and use Fireblast!" Twilight jumped to the side then opened it's mouth wide, massive flames were quickly formed then fired out in the shape of a large stickman at Jessie's arbok.
"You obviously don't know about type advantages do you? Who're you anyway?!" Arina called out, taking a step forward, she wasn't about to let her ribbons get stolen by some random theif.

Meowth was walking slowly through the woods trying to look for his separated companions. ~Where are they?~ He asked himself as he walked. Then he came across a battle with a somewhat familiar Arbok. "Jessie! There you are!" He called and ran over to her.

Arbok was fried by the attack but endured as best it could. But to no avail... "Aaaaaaaarbok!" it hissed before collapsing to the ground, fainted. "Return, Arbok!" she called the Pokemon returning to its Pokeball. She clecnhed her teeth angrily. She couldn't lose this battle! But all she had left right now was Wobbuffet. Not exactly her favorite choice of a Pokemon...
Thats when she heard a familliar voice. "Meowth! I could use your help here!" she yelled, obviously not in her best mood. While she knew Meowth's battle record wasn't the greatest and that he rarely battled in the first place, she didn't care. He was still better than Wobbuffet in her opinion and she refused to lose this battle.

Mewoth stopped and turned to the ninetails behind him. "Yeah, about that..... What do you expect me to do?" He said half smiling while giving a slight shrug.

Jessie raised a fist in anger, but she knew she wasn't going to get any help. "Oh, fine! Forget it!" she yelled taking out her second Pokeball. This was a desperate move. And before she even threw it and gave the command, the Pokemon inside appeared next to her. "WOBBU-WOB!!!!" Jessie sighed at thePokemon. "You're hopeless," she muttered.

Meowth sighed. "What ever did you do to make this girlie mad anyway?" Meowth said looking at Jessie's pokemon.

"I'll tell you what she did! She stole my contest ribbons! I worked hard for those! Twilight, Fire spin!!" A twister of fire was summoned, growing bigger as it headed towards Meowth and Wabbufet.
"I hope you enjoy the heat!" Arina called out.

"Wobbuffet, Mirror Coat!" Jessie commanded. This was the only worthwhile move other than Counter that the Psychic Pokemon had. As it obeyed, its skin began to shine a bright white as it reflected back the Fire Spin. ~This had better work...~ Jessie thought. ((Sorry its not very good. ))
