Short Bio: The mysterious trainer known as the phantom is a man shrouded in mystery. Always covering his face with a mask, nobody truly knows who he is, or where exactly he comes from. However, what is known is that for much of his life, he spent his time locked away in an old mansion, which was thought to be haunted. The house was supposedly in his family for generations, and he inherited it after the death of it's previous owners. His move was even a secret, he himself was never seen entering or leaving the place, but he was known to be there from the activity of vehicles around the old mansion. His life inside however was much more strange then the secrecy of his life.
The old house was filled with ghost pokemon due to the fact that the house itself was a site where the spirit world and human world crossed over. That is why that place could never hold an owner for more then a few weeks, however Damien Specter as he was then called, actually possessed a kinship with the ghost pokemon. Although he was rather eccentric, Damien was at that time a friendly person, and after his secret move in, oped his doors to people. Although some where frightened, people did eventually come to see the ghost pokemon that Damien trained and shared kinship with. Eventually these shows of what the ghost pokemon could do turned to battles, and eventually the houses' basement was converted into an official ghost type gym. Damien also at this time as a gym leader met a women that he instantly fell in love with. She too loved him, and it was a match made in heaven. They promised each other that they would marry, have children and live the ideal life, that of a family.
However, all of this would one day come crashing down, when Damien's beloved fell ill and died. With her death, Damien was trusted into despair, and the women's death also caused a disturbance in the spirits of his home. Damien and his pokemon who where once the most popular "family" in his area now became much more dark. Damien became severely depressed about her death, and after locking himself away in the mansion for quite some time he "killed himself" by faking his death, and having the area where he lived think that he had died of the same illness that his beloved had had. His depression slowly turned to insanity, and he began to become obsessive about bringing his beloved back from the dead. He studied science and the occult, desperate to bring her back, all to no avail, when then opportunity knocked. Team Rocket knew his skill as a trainer, and Giovanni wanted him to help lead Team Rocket as an admin. In return for his services, Giovanni promised him acsses to Team Rocket's technology so he could try and re-create or even reselect his beloved. Damien excepted, and he then became the trainer known as "Phantom" he re-opened the gym in the basement of his mansion, and told the people of his town that he, Phantom was the new owner of the gym. He now works as both a Team Rocket Admin and gives out the Esper Badge, which looks like a blue willo-whisp.
