Honchcrow indeed lingered nearby, barely having the Fearow in its sights. Paul then became silent, letting his pokemon think for himself. He smirked.. as his Honchcrow swiftly came at Sequoia from behind with a powerful Wing Attack, and without a command either.

Sequoia was knocked down to the ground by this attack and was severely hurt. She was still conscious though and that was good. "Use Roost!" Senegal yelled. As he said this, Sequoia began to glow and though it wasn't a full recovery, she was able to heal some of her wounds. Enough that she could stand again anyway and maybe even fly. She knew now what she had to do. She would stay on the ground for the time being where even if she didn't see Honchcrow attacking, Senegal would and would therefor be able to warn her.

"Honchcrow, stop disappointing me and finish it off!" Paul yelled, getting irritated. "Wing Attack, full force!"
Honchcrow nodded obediently, as if it was its trainer's slave while swooping down quickly at Sequoia, hoping to strike her down before her healing time was finished. Though she would definitely be finished recovering and ready to dodge..

"Dodge, now!" Senegal yelled, obvious concern in his voice. Paul's Pokemon just wouldn't stop! It was one attack after another! And the way he spoke to his Pokemon filled Senegal with even more concern, not just for Sequoia, but for his opponent's Pokemon as well.
The Fearow barely had enough time but with a flap of her wings, she managed to move just a couple feet into the air , floating backwards and avoiding the attack. "Now, use Peck!"
